Zoobombs - ….BOOM!

Zoobombs continue to drop bombs and explode on stage with a rock and roll energy that knows no limit.  Fans jumping all over the place, sweat flying, heads banging, arms in the air.  It’s a rock show and a teleport to a show in Western style.  Front man Don Matsuo mentioned my project during the show.  Although my Japanese is a little shaky, I think he said something to the like of, “Americans think Tokyo audiences are calm and stoic.  Let’s prove them wrong. Fuck America!”  Before I knew it the whole place was chanting “Fuck America”.  The song ended with “we love America” and this sentiment was obvious from the beginning.  There may be many reasons to chant “Fuck America”, but at least with regards to rock and roll, the Japanese have nothing but respect.  It was a successful gimmick to get audience response and it certainly proved that the Japanese know how to rock and roll.  Read my other article for a more in depth description of the Zoobombs music.
